Supporting Health Research

Provincial Transport has been committed to many charity and community events to help people in need. Our passion, however, is in helping children who are in need of treatments leading to either control or total cure of devastating diseases that kill by the second each and every day.

Cystic Fibrosis is one of those diseases that make life for those diagnosed kids extremely difficult and short in many cases. This is the number one focus within our organization. Imagine putting a straw to your mouth and trying to breath through it all day long. It would feel like you were drowning and this is what many people with Cystic Fibrosis live with every day. There is no cure or control, just a huge regime of daily drugs and intervention that is excruciating on both patients and families dealing with this disease day in and day out. There has been some hope with many drugs in clinical trials, but like everything else it takes money to support the cost of on-going trials.

It's part of Provincial’s mission as a company to do what ever we can to stop the number one genetic terminal disease in the world. We are asking you to support us in this cause.

Provincial supports Canadian and American Cystic Fibrosis Foundations by having its 53-foot tractor trailers that travel throughout North America act as huge billboards. Our trailers carry the Cystic Fibrosis logos as an awareness campaign for this foundation. Provincial Transport has donated a huge part of our donation budget to this cause and will continue our contributions until we find a cure or control for this lethal disease.

Provincial also supports The Children's Hospitals with monthly contributions to assist with children's needs. Provincial’s mission has always been to support children's functions. We have sponsored children's sport teams ranging from hockey, football, soccer, baseball, NHRA jr. racecars, motocross racing, ringette, basketball and many others.

Our Vice-President, John Curry, donates much of his time to fundraising events along with many of our staff members.

Being part of the community in business is one thing, but to not give back what you have been given would be a travesty.

It has never been Provincial’s motto to give and be recognized for our contributions, it's about giving back because it's simply the right thing to do!
